Your Stash Doesn’t Have to Be Exact
Our stash sizes are priced around what moms typically bring, with extra room built in. There’s no pressure to fill your selected size to the maximum.
What if my stash doesn’t match exactly?
For local orders, the first 15 oz beyond your selected stash size’s maximum are included at no additional cost.
A flat-rate adjustment may allow you to keep your current stash size instead of moving up. We’ll help find the most cost-effective option.
If your milk falls below your stash size’s refund threshold, a standardized refund applies. Example: Small with under 120 oz receives $30 back.
After we receive and document your milk, we’ll review any necessary adjustments with you and get your approval before moving forward.

What is Milk by Mom?
Milk by Mom is a breast milk freeze drying service. Freeze-dried breast milk powder in our packaging is self-stable for three years with no need to refrigerate.
Can I travel with freeze-dried breast milk?
Yes! Freeze-drying makes traveling while breastfeeding easier.
How can I be sure that the breast milk powder I receive is my own?
At Milk By Mom, we follow a strict sterile process when handling your breast milk. We carefully inspect, document, and label your milk as soon as it arrives, and store your milk in a dedicated labeled bin until we are ready to process it. We only work on ONE mama's milk at a time and clean all surfaces and equipment thoroughly in between batches. No momma’s milk will ever touch another’s. This helps to avoid any cross contaminations and also ensure that YOU will get back your milk.
What if I need to make a bottle of a different size? What is the ratio of breast milk powder to water that I should use?
Your freeze-dried breast milk is returned to you with a custom label that outlines how to rehydrate your milk to its exact original consistency.
